This week, for me, is about getting going on my final project. I was just informed that my mother, brother, and sister are coming to visit me for the weekend and staying until Tuesday so I was just struck with a bit of anxiety about getting everything done before they get here. I was also just informed by the principal of my new teaching job that I can come pick up the key to my new classroom and start setting up. So obviously I want to spend my time in my new room organizing and unpacking. Although I have gotten a decent head start on the final project, I am going to try very hard the next two/three days to complete it so I will not have anxiety and such the next coming week.

This is who will be coming to visit. I think photographs are nice, especially after reading and reading and reading text all day. From the left is my brother’s girlfriend Sarah, my oldest brother Ben, My sister Dianna, My wonderful Mother, and then me and my boyfriend Bryan. We are already here, so we aren’t visiting. Anyways….
Assignment wise, this week we were to create an introduction survey to our class. This assignment I greatly enjoyed, especially because this is something I would always do when first getting to know my students. Being an art teacher, students come in to class with a huge variation of knowledge, so a resource like SurveyMonkey is great to see where I should begin my teaching. One struggle I did face with SurveyMonkey is that if you want a survey of more then 10 questions you have to upgrade. Although I did not have more then 10 actual questions, I added some images to be analyzed, and whenever you put an image on the page, it counts as a question. (Even though you can’t add a question to the image) So that was a little frustrating. So for this assignment, I didn’t meet the requirement of having 10 separate questions, but there are definitely 10+ questions within the 8 I asked. Once you take my survey, you will understand. That being said, please take my survey, and comment under this post with feedback. I want to know what it is like for someone who maybe or maybe not knows much about photography.
Here is another link, in case the one at the top of the page didn’t work

Just took your survey. Don’t laugh too much at my answers. I watch my husband take photos but not much of a camera bug myself!
