Are you feeling bored, in the mood to take a fun survey that probably doesn’t relate much to you? Well I can help, Click the link below and take my survey as if you were a High School student taking an Introduction to Photography class! UPDATE
I completed a new Taxonomy table, because mine didnt really fit my final project, so here it is!
As I mentioned in “week 4” under reflective journal, my group and I completed 3 write ups on different assessment tools that would be quite handy while teaching in an online environment. Although my group is not 100% finished, I am leaving for the weekend to go camping and will not have internet access to post the final product. So this will have to do for now!
UPDATE:
Here is the completed link to my groups assessment tools. I was just waiting for the final touches to be made, and now they have, please check it out!
Either way, check out this link. You get a personalized view into what a wiki is all about, as well as a few netiquette guidelines that my classmates and I have come up with!
What is a Wiki?? Click the link below to find out!

This is a screen shot image of my Concept Map. I was having a little bit of trouble saving through the webspirations website, but hopefully you are able to understand the concept. My objectives relove around the ideas of teaching color theory to 1st grade students. The first two objectives are all about getting the students familiar with the primary and secondary colors. The third objective is letting the students experiment with the three primary colors to see what secondary colors they create. A lot of questioning in the form of assessment takes place during this lesson. They first start out with Sesame Street video on primary colors, and then a color matching online game where they match the colors to the words. After that the students would complete the painting process at home. If the student does not have access to paint, colored pencils or crayons work just the same. The assessment would be sent through pictures or videos, depending on the online classroom environment. Most of the assessment is based on completeness and relevancy.
UPDATE:
I realize that the image was very hard to read, so I did my best with some new screen shots which are hopefully better. For some reason, since I am using a free trial the program will not let me save the file to my computer, unless I use a word document, and that does not do the graphics any justice. Bare with me! This is what they say:
Objectives:
The student will learn and identify the three primary colors (Identification Game)
The student will learn and identify the three secondary colors (Identification Game)
Students will learn that there are intermediate colors that can be created by mixing primary and secondary colors. (Color Mixing) (Mouse Paint Book)
Assessment:
Students will demonstrate their knowledge of color theory, including primary and secondary colors with the completion of the lesson. They will be painting 6 different mice (using the Mouse Paint book as a reference). The outcome of their color mixing and knowledge of the primary colors will be seen with their final painting.
UPDATE AGAIN
I completed a completely new Concept Map, because the first one did not correspond with my final project. Here it is
Here is some more information on myself, if you were wondering.
My favorite indoor and outdoor activity is throwing pots. I am a lover of all things clay, so any free time that I have I either pull my wheel outside on the balcony, or simply leave it in my kitchen and create.
